I’m heading back to Kenya again soon — and honestly, I couldn’t be more excited.
The thought of returning doesn’t feel like another business trip. It feels like going back to a place where relationships matter, where conversations are meaningful, and where the people I meet always leave me inspired.
Yes, it’s work. But somehow, it doesn’t feel like work.
Building Relationships That Matter in African Finance
Every time I visit Kenya, I’m reminded of why I love doing what I do. The energy, the warmth, and the openness of the people I meet makes every conversation an opportunity — not just for business, but for genuine connection.
I’m looking forward to reconnecting with partners, clients, and prospective clients. But above all, I’m looking forward to listening, learning, and continuing to build the long-term relationships that sit at the heart of Veri’s vision.

Time with Ronald Rapando
This trip is also a chance to spend more time with Ronald Rapando , our representative in Kenya. Ronald Rapando has already proven himself to be an exceptional addition to the team, bringing years of experience in banking and finance, as well as a natural ability to connect with people.
I’m looking forward to working closely with him, continuing his education and development within the Veri Group, and supporting him as he deepens relationships on the ground. His role is vital to ensuring our clients always feel supported — not just when we’re in-country, but every single day.
Looking Ahead
For me, Kenya is becoming more than just a market — it’s a place of inspiration and growth, both personally and professionally. Each trip reinforces the importance of what we’re building: a platform rooted in trust, service, and collaboration.
I’m grateful for the warm welcome I always receive, and I’m excited to be back again soon.
Over to You
Here’s where I’d love your input:
What do you think makes Kenyan business culture unique?
What advice would you give someone like me, coming back again to strengthen relationships?
And for those of you in Nairobi — what’s the one local experience or food you’d recommend I try this time?
Your insights will make my visit even more meaningful.
I’m grateful for the warm welcome I always receive in Kenya — and I can’t wait to be back.
